Thoughts on the desire for a 90% graduation rate.
How can the State achieve 90% graduation? My thoughts: The reality is that we will never (as a State) get 90% graduation rate. We CAN raise both rates and excellence by two acts.
1. Allow for choice and competition to improve education so that education aligns with parents and students needs.
2. People must have a direct and serious understanding that failure to achieve in education leads to failure in life. When our society coddles failure, we encourage failure.
The most important thing to remember is that YOUR family is not a reflection of our society. YOU can have 100% graduation in your society, your family.
